Knee High - Fourth of July
4th of July. 76 degrees. Corn knee-high. Check.
The garden looks pretty perfect today, thanks to all the help over the last couple weeks. We’ve been getting everything ready for our trip out of town for a couple weeks. Kris and Tom are going to be up here, and keep things up while we’re gone. A tough time to leave…but it’s always a tough time to leave during the season.
Here’s the herb section - in the foreground, fennel and spring onions, some flowers, catnip, yarrow, evening primrose, sunflowers, and then further back, mint, oregano, thyme, italian parsley, and asparagus.
Prior to leaving, Sal got together some of the ingredients for a new batch of her first aid spray. All of the ingredients come from our farm, and they’re beautiful in the jars below, fresh-picked.
